چکیده

Quantum dots are tiny semiconductor nanocrystals. Their dimensions between about 2 and 10 nm. They have attracted much attention due to their unique electronic optical properties. These particles can be synthesized in a variety of ways. Synthesis methods quantum classified into top-down bottom-up. Top-down approach is fragmentation process bulk material. In contrast top-down, constructed from atoms molecules the material at bottom-up procedure. Ball milling, lithography, laser ablation arc-discharge some methods. However, chemical reduction, thermal decomposition, sol-gel ultrasonic spray pyrolysis this study, hot-injection synthesis method cadmium selenide which kind procedure will explained. Cadmium been grown hot solvent 259oC. Concentration dispersed toluene has adjusted by observing first exciton peak. First excitonic absorbance peak measured around 2.18 eV. Transmission electron microscope photo these growth shown. The average diameter found approximately 3.48 Lattice fringe spacing as ~0.35

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...

Synthesis and characterization of luminescent cadmium selenide/zinc selenide/zinc sulfide cholinomimetic quantum dots.

Luminescent quantum dots conjugated with highly selective molecular recognition ligands are widely used for targeting and imaging biological structures. In this paper, water soluble cholinomimetic cadmium selenide (core), zinc selenide/zinc sulfide (shell) quantum dots were synthesized for targeting cholinergic sites. Cholinomimetic specificity was incorporated by conjugation of the quantum dot...

Synthesis and Optical Study of CdZnTe Quantum Dots

The comparison of growth processes and fluorescent properties of CdZnTe semiconductor quantum dots that are synthesized in different concentrations of Zn2+ in water are discussed in this paper. The samples are characterized through absorbtion (UV) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). The results show that when the reaction time is prolonged, the absorption peak and fluorescent emission peak pres...
